Rüdiger Krethe joined OELCHECK GmbH in 1996 – 30 years have passed since then, during which he has played a decisive role in shaping the development of the company and the OilDoc Academy. In times of increasing job turnover, such long service is anything but a matter of course – few employees today show such loyalty to a company.
1996 – 2010
Diagnostic engineer and head of the tribology team at OELCHECK GmbH
After his studies of mechanical engineering and tribotechnology he has been working in the industrial lubricant division of a mineral oil company. Subsequently, he led the diagnostic team at OELCHECK for 15 years.
As the first diagnostic engineer alongside Peter Weismann and later as head of the tribology team, Rüdiger Krethe has played a key role in shaping the quality and efficiency of our laboratory report evaluations with his technical and programming expertise.
2010 to present
Managing Director of the OilDoc Academy
His special talent: conveying complex knowledge about lubricants, oil analysis and condition monitoring in a way that is understandable, practical and entertaining at the same time. It was therefore only logical that he became involved in training at an early stage and took over the management of the OilDoc Academy in 2010.
Since then, he has trained countless participants, designed and conducted seminars, and published specialist articles, expert reports and books – receiving awards including the Raymond L. Thibault Excellence in Education Award.
He is both a Certified Lubrication Specialist (CLS) of the STLE and a Machine Lubricant Analyst II (MLA II) and Machinery Lubrication Engineer (MLE) of the ICML.
BDSH-certified expert for lubricants and lubricant monitoring
Rüdiger Krethe is a BDSH-certified expert for lubricants and lubricant monitoring – and thus the only expert for lubricants and lubricant monitoring in the German-speaking world.
We say thank you…
…for your tireless dedication, your innovative spirit and your impressive loyalty.
We look forward to many more years together with exciting seminars and events!
