After our last CLS preparation course from December 1 01.12. until December 4, 2025 Thomas Bergmann, Senior Lubrication Field Engineer at ExxonMobil, has successfully passed the online exam to become a CLS (Certified Lubrication Specialist).

Information about the CLS certification exam (STLE)
To participate in the CLS certification exam, you must register directly with STLE at least two weeks before the desired exam date.
Registration is done independently and conveniently through the STLE online portal.
Flexible and location-independent: Online exam with certified supervision
Since 2021, the STLE has offered the opportunity to take the CLS exam online and remotely – whether at home, in the office, or in a quiet room with a stable internet connection.
Requirements for participation are:
- Laptop or tablet with webcam and headset
- Secure and stable internet connection
- Quiet, undisturbed environment
Our participant took the exam online the very next day at our OilDoc Academy—under optimal conditions and with the usual professional support on site.
