Despite approximately the same operating time, the oils from different applications look very different. Oxidation, additive consumption, thermal decomposition, but also impurities leave their individual mark on the oil.

Mechanical engineering and lubricating oil technology have changed in equal measure. In addition, the individual systems react very differently to oil ageing: While some systems “cope” relatively well with ageing products such as sludge and deposits, others quickly “malfunction”.

This one-hour online training course will show you the possibilities and limitations of oil monitoring using tried-and-tested and new methods.

Practical examples from various application areas such as turbines, hydraulic systems, gearboxes and compressors will help you to maximise the benefits of professional oil monitoring.
