Efficient Condition Monitoring with Online Oil Sensors

Online oil sensors enable continuous monitoring of oil and plant condition through precise data collection. In our workshop, you’ll learn about the latest sensor technologies, their potential applications, and how to effectively analyze the data. Find out which sensor is suitable for your system, how to monitor different types of oil, and how to create meaningful analyses using standard and specialised software. Why is oil monitoring essential? What options are available—online, on-site, or in the lab—in a pragmatic comparison. You will learn how and why lubricating oils degrade, and what specific challenges arise with gear oils, hydraulic fluids, turbine oils, and engine oils. Viscosity, water, and particle sensors, as well as oil condition sensors—you’ll learn how they work, the parameters they measure, and their practical significance. Finally, you will learn how to correctly evaluate measurement results, define and apply limit values, use pattern recognition, and successfully implement practical examples.
