Become an Expert in Transmission Oil Analysis

This workshop is designed for professionals who wish to deepen their knowledge of the analysis and evaluation of gear oils. In this intensive workshop, you’ll gain comprehensive expertise on the complex processes of oil aging and learn to interpret lab reports like a true expert. You will learn to identify and distinguish between aging processes, compare the performance of different types of oil, and evaluate real-world analysis results in an informed manner.

Our course is distinguished by its strong practical focus: Using actual used oils from a wide variety of industrial applications, you will discuss critical findings with a small, experienced group (maximum of 15 people) and learn to correctly interpret even complex operating conditions. The in-depth exchange with colleagues and experts will enable you to take your analytical skills to the next level. Dive into the world of modern oil analysis and become a sought-after expert in your company!

  • Identifying, Distinguishing, and Properly Assessing Aging Processes in Transmission Oils
  • Interpreting relevant analytical parameters such as viscosity, neutralization number, MPC, and purity class in a practical context
  • Compare and contrast the aging behavior of mineral oils and synthetic oils (PAG, esters)
  • Apply and use alternative analytical methods for oxidation detection
  • Expertly evaluate laboratory reports on used oils from various industrial applications
  • Identify special operating conditions and take them into account when interpreting oil analysis results
  • Expand practical knowledge through discussion and the exchange of experiences with fellow professionals
