The most important facts in brief:

Water is by far the most common form of liquid contamination of lubricating oils, hydraulic fluids and other functional fluids. The same applies to the entry of air in the area of gaseous contamination. Both phenomena are often underestimated or overestimated in practice. Both lead to unnecessary measures and the resulting increased costs.

Applications, machines and oil types react differently to air and water ingress. A generalised treatment of the topic is therefore not very helpful. The training series deals systematically and application-specifically with the causes and consequences of increased water and air ingress and provides practical tips for recognising and eliminating these as early as possible.
