In February 2026, four participants in the seminar ‘Module 2 – Fundamentals of Lubricant Application II’ successfully passed the examination to become ‘Certified Lubricant Technicians’. After intensive preparation in our practice-oriented seminars (modules 1 and 2), all examinees were able to complete the demanding multiple-choice exam with very good results.
Three participants took the online exam on site, while another participant (not pictured) completed the entire exam using a Proctorin tool – entirely online and under supervision.
We warmly congratulate the newly certified lubricant technicians on their success! With the expertise they have acquired, they are ideally prepared to select and apply lubricants correctly and manage them professionally in their working environment.
The ‘Certified Lubricant Technician’ certificate
The qualification is based on the two-part seminar ‘Fundamentals of Lubricant Application’ (Modules 1 and 2). Following both modules, participants take a written examination consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions. Anyone who answers at least 70% of the questions correctly will receive the OilDoc certificate ‘Certified Lubricant Technician’ and is entitled to use the official logo.
The next step: From technician to expert
Building on the technician training course, there is the opportunity to gain further qualification as a ‘Certified Lubricant Expert’. The following additional modules must be completed for this:
- Module 3 – Professional Lubricant Management
- Module 4 – Solving practical problems – Avoiding damage
After attending these two advanced modules, participants can take the examination to become a ‘Certified Lubricant Expert’.
Flexible, modular, practical
The modules can be booked flexibly and independently of each other:
- For beginners and participants with little prior knowledge, we recommend starting with Module 1, followed by Module 2.
- Experienced practitioners can also use Modules 1 and 2 to refresh or deepen their knowledge and can vary the order in which they take them.
- Modules 3 and 4 are independent of each other and can be taken in any order.
