Corporate Seminar at RKR Gebläse und Verdichter GmbH

In-depth knowledge of lubricants right within the company

Rüdiger Krethe was a guest at RKR Gebläse und Verdichter GmbH in Rinteln for a one-day corporate seminar. Participants from various departments within the company discussed the selection, use, and condition monitoring of lubricating oils for blowers and compressors.

RKR Gebläse und Verdichter GmbH

RKR Gebläse und Verdichter GmbH designs and manufactures sophisticated mechanical engineering solutions with a current workforce of approximately 80 employees. As a subsidiary of a stable, internationally active German family-owned group of companies, RKR develops custom blowers and compressors. These are primarily used in plant engineering, where the oil-free delivery of air, nitrogen, and gases plays a key role.

Seminar contents at a glance

The seminar provided practical knowledge on the selection and use of lubricating oils for blowers and compressors. The focus was on various types of base oils, their advantages and disadvantages, and sustainability considerations. In addition, the presentation explained how lubricating oils age during operation and what impact contaminants, oil mixing, and gases have. Other topics included the specific requirements of screw compressors with oil-injection cooling and the applications of RKR lubricating oils. Real-world examples demonstrated how laboratory analyses and online sensors help monitor oil condition. A concluding discussion provided an opportunity for questions and professional exchange.

A warm welcome and dedicated teamwork

We would like to thank RKR for the warm welcome and all the participants for their dedicated participation. Active participation and discussion across different departments enriched the seminar day.
