On July 3, 2026, an exclusive one-day customized seminar for Suffel Fördertechnik GmbH & Co. KG was held at the OILDOC Academy. The seminar was a complete success and demonstrates once again how important tailored training programs are for ensuring professional competence.
The “Train-the-Trainer” Principle in Practice
Suffel Fördertechnik is firmly committed to training and continuing education. With 15 service trainers, about 80 training sessions per year, and more than 600 training participants annually, the company has established an impressive training system. The service trainers share their knowledge using the proven “train-the-trainer” principle—a strategy that ensures the ongoing preservation of expertise, quality, and technical know-how.

The seminar “Forklifts and Their Lubricants” was developed in close collaboration with Suffel Fördertechnik to meet the specific needs of their service trainers. This is the only way to ensure that the content taught is directly applicable in practice and provides maximum value.
The program included the following topics:
- Engine Oils: Functions, Properties, and Interpretation of Laboratory Reports
- Hydraulic fluids: Conventional hydraulic oils, single-grade and multigrade oils, and bio-based hydraulic fluids
- Focus on Axle Oils: Conventional Transmission Oils in Forklifts and Hydrostatic Drive Systems
- Greases for Forklifts: Differences, Basic Properties, Miscibility, and Compatibility
Highlight: Lab tour at OELCHECK
One of the absolute highlights of the seminar was the exclusive lab tour at our partner OELCHECK. Here, the service trainers were able to see firsthand how laboratory analyses are conducted and what valuable information can be gleaned from the results.
Knowledge for over 600 participants per year
The trained service instructors will now pass on their in-depth knowledge of optimal lubrication practices—the cornerstone of a reliable industrial truck fleet—directly to their more than 600 training participants each year. This creates a multiplier effect that strengthens the entire organization.
